In my dream, a family member rushed up to me, their eyes filled with worry. They urgently whispered, “There’s an Indian man in the house searching for you! He claims you owe him money.”

Confusion gripped me as I questioned how this stranger found their way into our home, let alone believed I owed him anything. I glanced around, unable to spot any signs of this mysterious visitor.

My heart raced, wondering what actions I must have taken to inadvertently invite this predicament. Did I borrow money and forget? Or was it a case of mistaken identity?

Filled with both anxiety and determination, I cautiously approached the Indian man, hoping to gain some clarity. Though unfamiliar, his demeanor was surprisingly calm and composed. He explained that he was an agent sent to collect a long-lost debt that someone with my name had accumulated many years ago.

Relief washed over me as I realized the misunderstanding. I reassured the Indian man that I was not the person he sought. With empathy and understanding, I offered to help him find the rightful debtor, if I could.

Together, we delved into dusty archives and old records, unearthing forgotten details that could lead us to the person who owed the money. Though it proved to be a challenging task, our determination to resolve the matter kept us going.

As time passed, our efforts paid off. We finally discovered the true debtor, a distant relative with a similar name, and notified the Indian man of our findings. Gratitude filled his eyes as he thanked me for assisting in closing this chapter of his quest.

Although the dream started with apprehension and fear, it evolved into a tale of cooperation and understanding. It reminded me that sometimes dreams can offer unexpected lessons about empathy and justice, even through the lens of the surreal.
