Efua NyansaCatching grasshoppers means that your energy is being pulled in too many directions at once. We see this in how a person tries to grasp at everything that moves, only to find their hands empty and their strength spent.
When you run after these quick, jumping things, you leave the heavy tasks of the home and the hearth undone. Such a dream shows a scattering of your focus that leaves the grain in the field untended. This fragmentation of your attention is a heavy thing, for it leaves the foundation of your house unsettled. May you find the stillness that allows your hands to hold what truly matters for those you love.
Picking grasshoppers or collecting grasshoppers turns the dream into a labor of futility. Because you are trying to gather what is meant to be left alone, you only succeed in making your own burden heavier without gaining anything of substance.

Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
