Dream about being chased by someone

Being chased by someone is a sign that you are moving away from a presence that demands an accounting. This dream shows how we often flee from the things we cannot face within our own circles, trying to outrun the weight of what is being asked of us. When we run, we do not solve the matter, we only create a distance that grows thin and hollow.

This flight usually names a way of living where we avoid the hard words that need to be spoken between neighbors or kin. To run is to believe that if we stay ahead, the truth will not catch us, yet the shadow of what we avoid follows every step. For those who feel this pull, child, the exhaustion of the race is already felt in the heart. There is a heaviness in the way you turn your back on what is standing right there. The peace of the household is found when the running stops and the face is met.

Being chased by someone with a knife is a dream where the flight is driven by a fear of words that cut deep. This detail changes the movement from a simple avoidance into a struggle against a sharp and biting hostility that threatens to break the ties you hold. You find yourself running because you know that a confrontation is coming that will leave nothing unsaid.
